GOVIND M JOSHI
GOVIND M JOSHI, born and brought up at Coimbatore, had all his formal school
education in a Convent.
Did his graduation and obtained B.Sc., degree majoring
“Mathematics” from Madras University. Subsequently
he pursued “CHARTERED ACCOUNTANCTY” and “COMPANY
SECRETARY” Course and qualified both the professional courses,
simultaneously, in the year 1990.
In ACS Final Examination, he had secured “ALL INDIA THIRD
RANK” and had won past President’s
Silver Medal and a Cash Award from TAXMAN PUBLICATIONS, New Delhi for his
meritorious performance and having secured highest percentage of marks in two papers
on an All-India Basis.
Currently, he is a Fellow Member of ICAI and
ICSI and has to his credit, nearly
35 years of rich, hands-on
experience in “Corporate Accounting, Direct Taxation, Auditing and Corporate
Laws.”
His areas of specialization are handling Public Issue of Shares, Rights Issue, Bonus
issue and Qualified Institutional Placements and as on date has handled nearly 10
IPOs.
He is a prolific writer of many professional articles and is a regular
speaker in the Seminars, Conferences and Meetings organized by the Institute of
Chartered Accountants of India, The Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of India and
The Institute of Company Secretaries of India.
He is also a Corporate Trainer in Human Traits and Psychology, Leadership and
Entrepreneurial Development, Turnaround Strategies etc.,
He has recently joined as a partner in “NIRMAL & ARPIT, a
reputed firm of Chartered Accountants, based out of Chenai.
